Exhibition “Girls’ Stories” by artist Rita Uljanova

From May 23 to July 6, the ”Romas Dārzs” gallery in Liepāja (Zivju Street 3) will present the personal exhibition ”Girls’ Stories” by artist Rita Uljanova.

The exhibition arrives in Liepāja at a moment when the freshness of spring merges with the warmth of summer – a time when nature flourishes in full color, trees and blossoms stretch toward the sun, and the air carries the lightness of wind and the freedom of creative spirit. In this poetic shift of seasons, the artist invites viewers into a dreamy, emotionally rich world – a mosaic of stories told through vivid paintings.

“Girls’ stories” is a sensitive and colorful visual journey that reflects Rita Uljanova’s artistic view of the world. Her works are filled with symbolic characters – travelers, souls, people shaped by their emotions. Over time, these images become symbols woven into each painting.

At the center of the exhibition are the girls – joyful and sorrowful, daughters, mothers, guardians of the world, or simply folk heroines. Delicate, dreamy, at times mystical or allegorical figures – each one holds a story, a secret, a quiet truth within.
