Exhibition ”DIFFERENTLY, WE ARE”

From May 26 to August 17, the Doll Art and Design Museum, at the ”Romas Dārzs” gallery in Liepāja, presents the exhibition ”DIFFERENTLY, WE ARE”.

No matter where the wind takes you, coming to Liepāja always stirs a longing to return – the air here is filled with art in its most vivid and expressive forms.

This year is special for Liepāja – the city has just joyfully celebrated its 400th annieversary. But the festive spirit continues, and this time it’s reflected in a heartfelt exhibition created by locals. It features photography, textile art, and animation – all works by artists who are either born in Liepāja or closely connected to it through roots, heart, or family.

The exhibition includes:

• video animations (flipbook-style) by Tereze Marija Miltina,
• vibrant and colorful textile creations by Agnese Rudzīte,
• and childhood-toned, colo-filtered photographs by Jānis Rudzītis
