About the exhibition “Beings and Their Shadows”
“Beings and Their Shadows” is a painting exhibition dedicated to the woman as the central axis of existence. A woman who simultaneously reveals herself as a multilayered being: a guardian, a mother, a colleague, a sister, a wife, a daughter. Each of these roles leaves its imprint—visible or silent, light or heavy. The works presented in the exhibition reveal the woman as a being and her shadows: social expectations, inherited roles, and inner states. This is a visual narrative about identity, about being oneself among the many “I must be,” about the light that casts a shadow, and the shadow that allows the light to be seen.
