Baida Valerijs

1958

Valerijs Baida brings together the professionalism of a staging artist and academic painting, the tradition of outstanding realism school with exciting, peculiar composition and imaginary. The strength of artist’s experience, passion and sincerity characterizes his distinctive handwriting. Valerijs paints landscapes, still life, portraits, interiors, figural compositions, works with oil paint, watercolors, and works in graphic technique.

Valerijs Baida is born in Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Moscow Oblast, on the 15th November, 1958.

In 1989 he graduated from the All-Union Institute of Cinematography’s /VGIK/ art faculty (painting). From 1991 he lives in Latvia.
